The Macedon Ranges Art Group was formed in 1996 with the aim of encouraging members to participate in exhibitions, to improve member's artistic skills and to donate profits to local charities.

To date, over $13,000 has been donated to various community groups. Artists' works include paintings in a wide range of mediums and styles, sculpture, pottery, porcelain, glassware, jewellery and hand-painted silk scarves.
